This course include semester (I, II & III).

Duration: 18 Months

ELIGIBILITY:   

• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream.
• Good Knowledge in Computers/ Internet etc.

SEMESTER -1

COURSE DETAILS:

Subject-1: Cyber Security & Ethical Hacking

• Basics of Networking.
• Introduction to Cyber Security.
• Information Gathering.
• Physical Security.

Subject-2: Application Attacks

Topics:  

• Windows7 Analysis & Hacking.
• Google Hacking.
• Application Password Hacking.
• Reverse Engineering & Software Cracking Techniques.

Subject-3: Network Attacks

Topics:  

• Email Hacking & Tracing.
• Malware Attacks & Backdoors.
• DOS, DDOS  & Buffer Overflow Attacks.
• Network Packet Analysis & Sniffing.
• Spamming.

Subject-4: Cyber Security Analysis & Countermeasures

Topics:  

• Firewall Technologies.
• IDS, IPS & Honeypots Analysis.
• Hacking Routers, Cable Modems and Firewall.
• Cryptography with different Applications.
  

Subject-4: Advance Security Analysis

Topics:  

• Internet Content Filtering Techniques.
• Privacy on the Internet.
• Securing Gadgets.
• Introduction to ISO 27001 & Security Policies.
  

EXAMINATION:

1) Students will have to appear for an Online/ Conventional Exam for First 26 Credits.
2) They'll also have to submit Two Assignments separately for 2 credits each, total 4 credits.

• Web based Password Cracking Techniques.
• Session Hijacking & SQL Injection.
• Hacking and Cheating Online Games.

Subject-3: Penetrating Testing
Topics: 

• Linux Hacking.
• Hacking Wireless Networks.
• Exploit Debugging.
• Penetration Testing.

Subject-4: Economical Offences

Topics:

• Phishing & Hacking Web Browsers.
• Credit Card Frauds & Financial Frauds.
• Economic Espionage.
• Introduction to Cyber Forensics.

Subject-5: Project

EXAMINATION:
1) Students will have to appear for an Online/ Conventional Exam for First 22 Credits.
2) They'll also have to submit 2 Assignments separately for 2 credits each total 4 credits.
3) Students will make a project and submit it at the end of their course which Carries 4 Credits.

• Live Case

Subject-4: Project

EXAMINATION:
1) Students will have to appear for an Online/ Conventional Exam for First 18 Credits.
2) They'll also have to submit two Assignments/ One Live Case  for 4 credits) 
3) Students will make a Project and submit it separately along with the Viva which carries 8 Credits each.

Total Credits: 90 (30 Credits + 30 Credits + 30 Credits)  [Sem-1    +    Sem-2    + Sem-3]

Fees:

Distance Mode: Rs. 15,000/-

Conventional Mode: Rs. 30,000/-

Foreign student: Rs. 45000/-

* Note: The Fees for Conventional Mode is applicable only for PUNE

• Candidates appearing in final year of the qualifying examination can also apply  for P. G. D. C. S., but they will have to produce the proof of passing examination Certificate within six months of the date of admission otherwise their admission would be cancelled  without the refund of fee.
